Burncliff Fire Victims Update
Berean is responding in the following ways:
1. Benevolent Fund
The Benevolent Fund at Berean has already given a cash donation to the victims of the fire via the Salvation Army.
2. Christmas Eve Donations
The Goodman Group (the owners of the apartment complex) are accepting donations in the form of
- Clothing (appropriate for winter)
- Cash
- Christmas Presents (new and wrapped please)
- Non-perishable food items
There will be a designated area to drop off any donations at all of the Christmas Eve services (3, 4:30, 6, & 11.) We will be delivering these to the victims of the fire via the Goodman Group.
3. Pastoral Assessment
The Pastoral/Elder leadership at Berean are assessing how we can help the victims in the coming weeks as it relates to housing, food, and basic needs. More information will be forthcoming.
